Broadly speaking, a welding machine has two choices for power supply – mains, or engine-driven. Renteca has options for both, depending on where and what you will be welding.
- Mains/Transformer power: Plug straight into the utility mains, and the welding equipment will convert the current and voltage from the mains into an output suitable for welding.
- Engine driven: An internal combustion engine powers a generator for this choice of welding equipment power supply. An LPG or diesel welder can be a better choice if you do not have consistent mains power.
