Miller Air Pak Features
The Miller Air Pak stands out among other multi-purpose welding solutions because of its versatility and efficiency. With so many great features, this machine is the go-to machine for individuals who often have dual operating requirements. Here are some features of the Miller Air Pak:
Arc Performance
The best welding arc performance on the market, the Miller Air Pak has DIG presets, allowing you to customise how soft or stiff the arc is. Its adaptive hot start function enables the machine to start up immediately, so there’s no need to wait when you need to weld.
Other impressive features to give you a good weld are the Life Arc, Auto-crater and auto-stop. The Lif-Arc function reduces or removes contamination when you begin to weld, while the Auto-crater automatically brings down the amperage as you finish the weld. Auto-stop stops the arc flare at the end of the weld as well.
Easy to use
The Miller Air Pak was designed to be convenient, from its function to how much noise it makes. Reduce fuel consumption and noise by setting the air flow controls to match the airflow requirements for plasma cutting and gouging. By lowering the air pressure, you can increase engine power to improve plasma-cutting output capabilities as well.
Rotary Screw Compressor
The Air Pak’s ability to multitask is remarkable, but one of its most impressive features is the rotary screw compressor, which broadens the overall function of the machine. Not only can you use welding tools, but now tons of air compression tools as well.
Miller Air Pak Applications
As you can imagine, the Air Pak’s versatility makes it suitable for a number of different applications. Here are a few of them:
- Ideal for dual-operator applications
- On-site maintenance
- Construction
- Fabrication
Miller Air Pak Processes
- DC Stick (SMAW)
- MIG (GMAW)
- Flux-Cored (FCAW)
